Since I decided to take part in the HAHD challenge over at EzineArticles it’s been a roller coaster ride. To be quite honest with you I’m not an article marketing expert. However, it is something I truly do want to become better at and it’s something that fits the profile of this blog and the way I want to do business really well.
As I said, I’m not an article marketing expert. So, what do you do when that’s the case? You study what those who are successful in the field do! Click here for more nuggets of gold!

Sometimes you stumble across information that simply blows you away. If you read my post from yesterday you know that I’m currently working through the Get Money From Google system by Perry Belcher and Ryan Deiss. Click here for more nuggets of gold!

I am man of many projects. More often than not, my challenge is to actually finish my projects. I recently had a small PLR project that didn’t do as well as, I had hoped…In fact, it tanked…completely. However, that’s won’t deter me. PLR projects may be shelved for a while, but at least I followed through and finished the project. At the same time, as I was finishing up the PLR article project, I purchased the Get Money From Google system from a guy called Perry Belcher. Click here for more nuggets of gold!

So the first part and what I’ve done today is some initial research. Basically the first thing I had to do was to pick a niche. Picking a niche for a review site is somewhat different than picking a niche for a blog or a product. I you’re creating a new blog you have to take a good look at what you like to do as well as what’s hot. That’s not necessarily the truth when you’re creating a review site.
When picking a niche for a review site you can pretty much focus on what you believe is a hot niche.
I initially considered doing a review site in the renewable energy niche. That niche is hot right now because of the financial crisis as well as the increasing gas prices. However, I found it a bit too “scammy” for my own personal taste. If you disagree on that point by all means go for that niche.
What I picked in the end was the good old web site creation niche. It’s a niche that will not wane as long as the internet exists and in my opinion it forms a great basis for a more permanent review site.
Having picked a niche I went to the Clickbank Marketplace and took a good look at the products. There are a great variety of products available, but I decided to keep my review site as focused as possible. I have initially divided the products I want to promote in 4 categories.
- Graphics
- Multimedia
- Web Site Creation
- Themes
At first I’ll focus my review site on the Web Site Creation Category. However, I’ll probably expand to include the other 3 categories in the future. In those 4 categories I found 22 products that I want to promote.
After finding my niche and my products I went to Google Adwords keyword tool to find some basic “desperate customer” keywords in these 4 categories. By desperate I mean keywords with phrases like “how to”, “tutorial”, or others along those lines in them. You don’t ever want keywords including the word “free”. Thase searches are made by freebie seekers who are unlikely to make a purchase.

I’m in the process of preparing all the great material for my upcoming profitable review site course. As I mentioned in my last blog post I wanted to give away a case study as a bonus. So I’m working on that right now.
In fact, I’ll be working on that during this entire week. First let me tell you a bit about it. The premise is this: build and market a profitable review site in 7 days (while still working an 8 hours a day; day job). Basically, I’ll have 1-3 hours a day to work on this project. So best case scenario is that I have a total of 21 hours to make it happen.
I quite frankly don’t know if it can be done, but either way I’m pretty sure the experiences of this will be invaluable. I know I can write at least 2 reviews an hours as per the “30 Minute Review” method, so that’s the least of my concerns.
What worries me is traffic building and actually making the first sale within this 7 day period. Fortunately I’ve got a few traffic tricks up my sleeve, but it’s still going to be a tight race. That’s the plan anyway, but I told you you could get an inside look for free right?
Well, I’ll keep you updated on this very blog. The first post will be made tomorrow. I’ll tell you what I’ve done so far and what the results are. I’ll do that every day until next Sunday. That alone should make for some very valuable information.
I’ll also be putting all my experiences together in a case study that Ill make available for free to those who sign up for my review site creation course (still working on a better name for it

Two days ago I told you I’d offer some more details about my review writing course so here it is. Basically were talking about a three month course on creating and marketing a profitable review site. Creating a review site and getting it online is pretty easy, but if you don’t do it right it’s not going to earn you a living. This three month course will take you by the hand and show you exactly what to do.
I was planning a pre-launch this weekend, but due to slight login issues with PayPal I’ve decided to push it back a week. So the pre-launch won’t happen until sometime next week. I have another reason to postpone it as well. I’m going to challenge myself on this one. I’ll try to set up and promote a review site within one week!
I’ll put those experiences into a case study that course members will be getting as a free bonus.
However, you’re probably still interested in knowing a bit more about the structure of the course. Well, as I said it will last for three months. Each week there will be at least two lessons. So that’s at least 24 lessons. In addition to that there will be several bonuses, but I’ll tell you about those next week.
I will also tell you a bit more about the structure of the lessons during the weekend. Right now I’m busy working on a lot of the material for the course. I can tell you it’s going to be awesome!
