One New Blog Created Every Second Means Yours Is Irrelevant Unless.

Blog No Comments »

Blogs and the activity of blogging went mainstream a long time ago so much so that these days every 1.5 seconds a new blog is created! Crazy huh? Put another way:

7.4 Million blogs were created in the last 120 days

1.5 Million blogs were created in the past 7 days

900,000 blogs created in the last 24 hours

37,500 blogs created every hour

Those are downright scary figures especially if you are just creating a blog today because it is a reflection of the extent of the competition facing you today! So what really made blogs and the activity of blogging so popular?

Why Blogs Became So Popular

Well before blogging became so mainstream and the internet became literally saturated with millions upon millions of blogs, the activity was pretty much restricted to only the truly savvy online marketers (who traditionally set the pace for the rest of the crowd) and the geeks. Once those marketers realized the significant advantages blogs held over normal websites they quickly, quietly and efficiently converted their traditional websites to the blog platform. Here’s why they did it:

1. Blogs are quickly indexed by search engines;

2. A blog is easy to update and add content to frequently;

3. Frequently updating content encourages visitors to return to your blog;

4. You don’t need to know HTML or any other web coding language to manage a blog;

5. Blogs embrace the 2-way conversation interactivity that is so important to today’s business environment;

6. Social Media Websites welcome and are the perfect fit for blogs;

7. Blogs rise up the search engines quickly;

8. It is dead easy to attract web traffic to a blog even if it is brand new;

9. New content added to your blog is instantly viewable and just as quickly picked up by the search engines; and

10. You don’t need to be a web designer or have web designing skills to create a cool and professional-looking blog that stimulates visitor confidence and enhances their interaction.

What those ten attributes listed above so characteristic of blogs essentially mean, is that a blog would invariably and inevitably beat a normal website when it comes to attracting web traffic and attaining exposure! What blogging had fundamentally done was to level the playing field so that even absolute beginners could take on well-established traditional websites that had had thousands of backlinks and been around for several years. What is more not only were blogs competing effectively with them but actually beating them at their own game!

Before long blogs were popping up as the number one listings throughout Google’s index for the most competitive keyword terms! Slowly and surely those traditional websites that had maintained a vice-like grip on the top-spot listings on Google for an eternity slowly lost their rankings to a large number of blogs.

Soon enough the secret was out that blogs wielded a considerable advantage over traditional websites and before long the activity itself had gone mainstream. Now let’s fast forward to the current situation today where the internet is super-saturated with blogs to the tune of a new blog being created every 1.5 seconds!

What 900,000 Blogs Created Everyday Means to You!

It used to be that anybody could virtually blog about anything and were almost guaranteed to attract enough traffic to make enough sales to actually justify it as being worth their while. In such a manner a lot of marketers who had embraced blogging early on were able to dominate a good number of niche markets quickly. But that was then and today, well, is today!

Long gone are the good ole days when you could target a small niche, slap together a few mediocre posts to your new blog and attract sufficient traffic to enable you to make money enough to quit your day job! These days most of those once little-saturated and highly-lucrative niche markets are overcrowded with more competitors than their daily web traffic allotment can possibly handle! What that boils down to is that only the very few, very best of blogs are actually able to make money online from their chosen niche markets.

That also means that if you are just creating a blog today, your blog will surely join the millions of mediocre blogs that never make any headway and are quickly abandoned by their owners unless you…

Make Your Blog Stand Out From The Rest Of The Crowd

To succeed as a blogger you have to make your blog stand out from the many other millions of blogs already proliferating all across the internet. This ironically is actually good news for you because most bloggers have absolutely no idea how to distinguish their blogs from the next guy’s. In fact these days there are two kinds of blogging style, the traditional type of blogging known as Old-School Blogging and the more recent style in tune with the current internet business environment known as New-School Blogging.

The big difference between Old-School Blogging and New-School Blogging is that unless your Old-School Blog is already ranking well on the Google Index, you are going to find it extremely difficult to draw enough attention to make your blog profitable. In other words if you start a blog today and adopt old-school blogging techniques then you are almost certainly guaranteed to fail. Why? Because old-school blogging techniques will not enable you to stand out from the crowd which also means that you cannot possible compete against blogs that have been around for a while and are already well-established.

The biggest flaw that old-school blogs suffered from was an inability to consistently draw significant amounts of web traffic!

However if you create a new blog and adopt new-school blogging techniques, within little time you will effortlessly attract lots of web traffic. Which method of blogging you choose will ultimately determine the level of internet success!

Money From Blogging

Blog No Comments »

Blogging is a fantastic way to make your living on the web all you need to do is make posts of areas that interest you. I’m not sure, but just possibly you already have a well setup blog, in which case it has made your job much simpler to monetize it.

Follow this guide Make Money From Blogging

What you need to understand is that accumulating cash from blogging is simple, a quick example is you make one blog promote it and monetize it (job done), you make your following blog and do the same process, and you just keep going until you are altogether happy with your income. You need to make the choice, if you are prepared to put the work in, the cash is fantastic, but if you are one of those people that is simply browsing for a quick fix well this seriously is not for you (after the first tough work, only then will it become simple).

What you must do is make sure your content is original, if you do not do this the problems will be serious (a lot less money). There isn’t anything worse than someone using copyright material, one because search engines can see copyright articles and two its against the law. Just consider if you are prosecuted, the cash you should have made will all be given to the website owner suing you (you wont have a leg to stand on). being unique is obviously vital but what if your passage doesn’t provide useful information to the visitor? they will just read a paragraph then vacate knowing they just wasted 1 minute of they’re life. Your target is to please the browser, if they are happy with the information you have supplied they will almost certainly comeback to read your future posts, alternatively they may even bookmark your web page.

Ever wanted to deviate from blogging, why not try: Earn money from freelancing

The browser has to be able to simply navigate their way around the blog because if they are finding it hard to find the post they need, they will just leave, keeping your browsers happy is vital. The appearance of you site is a good point, make sure it is user friendly (ie it appeals to the majority) because the last thing you want is for visitors not to read your content because they don’t like the look of your sites colours. You will have heard the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”, but the truth is we do. If you believe the book has a good cover you unconsciously  think it has awsome content.

After making your blog you can supply a description of your blog, this is the desription that visitors will be able to see in google, therefore the content has to be good in order to attract people. Normally a reader looking on the web is looking for an answer to their question, therefore you need to write in your description what information you are supplying for instance if i was to create a description for this passage i could put “A extremely easy course to learning how to make money from blogging” etc. Also confirm you include a well thought out about page, tell the reader what you have achieved and how you did it, this will help them get to know you and trust what you are saying.

The best advice I can give you for your topic is to produce a “How to” website, millions of people search the web every day with their only purpose to solve a problem they have. Your content is good if you have answered the readers question that they had looked for (likely to be your keyword). If you have got all the vital points done up to this point, you now need to add google adsense, this is what google use to advertise for its merchant advertisers they will pay you for every click that is made from a reader on your page.

Starting a Blogging Business That Matters

Blog No Comments »

Blogging businesses haven’t been around too long. However, already there have been a few exits. One of the first internet companies on the blogging scene – Weblogs Inc – sold to AOL for around $30M. And, there have also been several other exits in and around the same price level. Some blogs and blog networks that have yet to have a liquidity event, or even raise cash to help pin-point a valuation, will likely be worth more than this number.

What entrepreneurs shouldn’t forget is that blogging is just a style of writing, and that a blog is just a type of website. Therefore, you should look at any company that monetizes editorial through advertising as a similar business. However, a blogging business has many advantages over a traditional media business or even a traditional internet media business:

• It’s much simpler to start a blog than it is to start most types of websites. You can use software like WordPress to get started with minimum technical knowledge. However, if you are starting a serious business you will most likely want to use the services of a development and design team to make sure everything looks great and works perfectly.

• It’s easier to drive traffic to a blog than to a traditional website. Bloggers are more inclined to link to their competitors, and therefore if you write good content you should be able to get coverage much quicker than other internet media businesses. Also, when you get more links from other bloggers you will also get more search engine traffic too.

Tips For Creating A Blogging Business That Matters

Don’t make your blog too reliant on you. Too many bloggers allow themselves to become the only recognisable face of their blog as they rise to internet stardom. This is great at first; however it causes more of a problem when you want to focus on growing your business and less on being the face of your blog. This is also something that will put off any potential buyer. Try to get writers on board that are able to earn an equally great reputation with your audience.

Spend money on building a cool internet brand. Too many blogs are built on sub-par domain names, and have horrible looking designs. This is okay for your personal blog, but it’s not okay for your business blog. Be prepared to spend some money on getting your blog design right, and making sure the back-end works fine too. If you don’t, you can be sure this is a decision you will regret further down the line.

Build contacts and get exclusives. Nothing builds a blog’s reputation like getting an exclusive on a story. And there are no ways to get exclusives other than having sources. If you start breaking stories, you will start to develop a formidable internet brand within your industry. Go to conferences, network, and use internet sources like LinkedIn to get put in touch with the players in the industry you write about. As you build a bigger and better reputation this becomes easier. Speed of the Blog: Steps to Make Money Online

Blog No Comments »

There is the blog, waiting for you to make the right choice, to make money online. It can be a ride, putting together a profitable blog by writing every day. You need to write fast if you truly want to make money in the very beginning. Use that speed on your blog. This guide is more than a look at ways to make money online. You can earn a blogging income. You can make money online by writing. It’s that simple. Let me tell you a story, of a blogging world where speed is crucial, where you can build an online career. Here are the steps.

Building Blogging Cash:
Smile at the blogging cash. It means you’re a success. Speed blogging is its own definition of the way to build something. On the internet, speed wins over quality. Don’t rush through everything, but you should consider speed building in the beginning. These steps can be looked at in various ways. It’s more than just steps to make money online, because as we go forward, you will notice your own ideas being put together faster.

Speed Wins, Speed Earns:
You can learn this the easy way. Do that. Speed will win you over readers, because you will reach a larger audience. Speed wins because you will see more readers coming to read more posts on your blog. Speed means earning faster. Sound easy? It isn’t. Consider it like a novel in the beginning: novels, in the first draft, are often races to the finish. The more you write, the more you uncover. Thoughts come fast. And keywords, which will be discussed later, come out of your typing naturally. You can edit forever, but the first draft is where the voice comes out.

Speed Means Writing:
Writing speed helps. There will be other assets to your speed blogging, but that is crucial to gaining a steady online income. Writing usually means a hidden structure. Structure helps you create more. Many books focus on structure as a means to writing more, and do so because speed is something all writers want. How do you get there? You get there by writing every day. The blog you started a month ago, maybe the one you forgot about, can help you make money online. Online income is big. But, I hear you saying, you have no time!

Earning Time, Earning Online Income:
Making money online is an odd way to say online income, but it seems to define the basics. Earning time is simple: you earn it by rewarding yourself, by making the right blogging choices. Sign up for a track counter on your blog, which allows you to see your visitor count. A good one to use is StatsCounter. This will show you what’s popular on your blog, providing a page by page breakdown, and show you where to spend the majority of what time you have. Maybe now you will have a more focused goal for earning online income with a blog. Do you want it to be steady? Let’s talk about structure.

Structure Works:
There is a hidden structure to every piece of good writing. A creative writer can put one and two together, forming a story (and they’re all stories in some sense) to reach a reader. To make money online you will need to understand the speed of blog writing, true, but you will also want to learn this hidden structure. It’s fairly complicated to say, but simple in practice. One crucial point of the hidden structure to speed blogging for online income is the “You-Factor”. Sure, you lead an interesting life, and write about it on your blog. How does it apply to me? Even in paid posts, especially in paid posts, you will want to relate to your reader. Many think using “you” is wrong. That’s a big mistake. Using “you” engages the reader. It helps them find a reason to keep reading, and maybe return to your blog. That’s a huge victory.

Earning Blogging Income:
There are hundreds of topics on this subject. Speed, in no place more pronounced, works especially well when you are using paid post sites like Pay Per Post or Smorty to make money online. This means a blogging career, earning blogging cash. Those are big things. Here is an example: you use Smorty.com for paid blogging, typing up short posts for high pay. However, the opportunities on Smorty are available to everyone. You pick one, you have to write on it. Speed comes in: the faster you can write, the faster you will get to the next paid post. One post at a time, that’s the way it goes. Not all sites are like that, but you will learn a good lesson in paid blogging if you understand it. There it is, the reason to speed up your blogging career.

Days of the Keyword:
Fast writing, in another sense, is full of keywords. Keywords are your path to build an online career, gaining online income on a daily basis. You can use all the keywords you want on a blog, on any given post. This applies to the structure of your speed blogging. For one, if you can outline a piece choosing 2-4 strong keywords, and use them, you will find success. If you write fast on important topics, with these keywords and a structure, I guarantee you’ll have more than just a good time, as you will be earning blogging cash.

Teleseminar Tip #14 – 5 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Teleseminars With Blogging

Blog No Comments »

1. Blog Content – Blogging or web log is usually a journal for most. It is an effective way to create instant content and promote your teleseminar event. Your blog is content and keyword rich. Make sure that you include a good title. The title should have the main keyword in it. You must blog a minimum of 3 – 4 times per week. People want fresh content. You get indexed quicker through the search engines with the constant content that is produced. Make sure to include in your closing of the blog an irresistible offer to your teleseminar event along with the URL to the website.

2. Blog Comments – When someone comments on your blog, make sure to answer them and include your offer and URL to the teleseminar. When you comment back, it makes the other person feel important. The more people you make feel important, the more people will turn from prospects into clients.

3. Video Blogs – Video blogging is a great way for people to see a face with the voice. Video blogging is becoming popular. Make sure you follow the rules of having a content and keyword rich video. It does not need to be a high quality video, but try to make it as professional as possible. People want the content more than the expensive high sales pitch. It even makes it feel more personal when it is not so high quality. You can use simple equipment such as a Flip Video or even your cell phone to create video blogs.

4. Audio Blogs – Audio blogging is another great way to put a voice to the content. You can read your blog. This is a good option to give especially if someone wants to listen to the blog instead of reading the blog.

5. OPB – OPB is other people’s blogs. You want to get to know the different blogs that relate to your topic or content of your teleseminar. Go to the other person’s blog and make useful or intelligent comments. By leaving feedback on other people’s blogs, you can leave your URL on your signature line.

Remember when you are using any of the above methods for driving traffic to your teleseminars, make sure you leave an offer at the end of your blog along with your URL to sign up for the teleseminar. If you are commenting, make sure your URL is listed on the signature line so it shows up in the comment section.

I invite you to visit www.1TeleseminarTips.com to learn how teleseminars can accelerate your business by increasing your sales and creating expert status.

Setting up a website is the very first step of an Internet marketing campaign, and the success or failure of your site depends greatly on how specifically you have defined your website goals. If you don’t know what you want your site to accomplish, it will most likely fail to accomplish anything. Without goals to guide you in developing and monitoring your website, all your site will be is an online announcement that you are in business.

If you expect your site to stimulate some form of action, whether it is visitors filling out a form so a representative can contact them, or purchasing a product, there are steps you can take to insure that your website is functioning at peak efficiency. One of the first indicators of how well your site is working for you is finding out the number of visitors in a given period of time. A good baseline measurement is a month in which you haven’t been doing any unusual offline promotional activities.

However, just because hoards of people have passed through your gates does not mean your site is successful. Usually, you want those visitors to actually do something there. It is equally important to monitor the number of visitors to your site who made a purchase. This figure is called the site conversion rate, and it is an essential element of the efficacy of your website.

To find the site conversion rate, take the number of visitors per month and figure out the percentage of them that actually performed the action your site is set up for. For example, if you had 2,000 hits to your site, but only 25 of them purchased your product, your site conversion rate equals 1.25%. To get this figure, take your number of visitors and divide that figure by the number of visitors who made a purchase. Then divide that result by 100 (25 ?00 X 100).

If your website is set-up to get visitors to fill out a form, make sure to then figure out what the difference is between your site conversion rate and your sales conversion rate. This is because not everyone who fills out your form will actually become your customer. However, whether your site is set-up to sell a service or product, or to get the visitor to fill out a form, the site conversion rate will measure the success or failure of your website whenever you make changes to the site.

You may find that you need to implement some additional marketing strategies if you find that traffic to your site is extremely low. There are several effective methods to improve the flow of traffic to your website, particularly launching a search engine optimization campaign. This campaign is targeted at increasing your position in search engine results so that consumers can find your pages faster and easier. You can either research the steps you need to take to improve your search engine rankings, or employ a search engine optimization company to do the work for you. In either case, after your have improved your search engine positions, make sure you keep on top of them by regular monitoring and adjusting of your efforts to maintain high positions.

Another factor to examine is how easy it is for a visitor to your website to accomplish the action the site is set-up for. For example, if your goal is for the visitor to fill out a form, is this form easily accessible, or does the visitor have to go through four levels to get to it? If it’s too difficult to get to, the customer may just throw in the towel and move on to another site. Make sure your buttons are highly visible, and the path to your form or ordering page quickly accessible.

Finally, have a professional evaluate the copy on your website. The goal is, of course, to get your visitor to make a purchase or fill out your form. Website copy must be specifically geared to your online campaign and not just a cut and paste job from your company brochure. The right copy can make the difference between profit and loss in your online campaign.
