Every budding writer shares common fears or rather insecurities. One statement that is often made goes along the lines of this: My writing is too bad for anyone to want to read. Many are afraid to publicize their writing for fear of ridicule. Most of the time that fear has no foundation in reality. The thing is, you don’t necessarily have to be the next Shakespeare, Twain or Poe, but if you still want to improve your writing there are some things you can do.

Well, it happens to the best of us. Sometimes it’s not so much writer’s block as it’s not knowing where to get started. A blank screen can definitely be one of the most terrifying prospects imaginable. So the eternal question is what the heck do you do? Well, there are plenty of advice, but here’s what I like to do.

2008 was an eventful year. Not only did I release my first product (30 Minute Review) I also launched several websites and even more projects that was never finished. I made a resolution for 2009 not to leave any projects unfinished (as it often is with resolutions I’ve already broken this one quite a few times).
