Although most aaffiliate marketing books are good in their own way, what boils down is to how you implement the knowhow you gained from it PRACTICALLY. Although this may take up some some time, it is to be noted that no books nor any marketing courses can come anywhere close to pure practical experience. There a slight problem though!

The way I have structured my autoreponder and my autoresponder messages means that I’m in no way ready to act on my growing list. This weekend will be dedicated to setting up my autoresponder to make sure that I get the most out of my list. Both for their sake and mine!

The truth is this is something I should have done a long time ago! However, it’s been an area of Internet marketing that I haven’t really gotten into. Maybe it just always seemed too intimidating.

Fortunately, however, I always did capture emails when I released my products. That, at least, is a good thing!

Here’s what I’m going to do:

1. Set up my autoresponder with one main list for all subscribers in a niche.
2. Set up a list for buyers and for freebie seekers in each niche.
3. Set up a specific list for each product and giveaway.

Whenever someone buys a product or gets a freebie from me they will be subscribed to the specific products list and the main niche list. If they bought a product they will be added to the buyers list, if they got a freebie they will be added to the freebie list.

The goal is to get as many buyers as possible because they are more likely to buy from me in the future. The product specific lists will only contain product updates. The other lists will attempt to sell more products.

If someone unsubscribes from a list they will be unsubscribed from all other non-product specific lists.

This is a structure I’ve come up with in the past couple of days. What do you think?

If you can’t do that in the blog name itself, at least make sure you have a tag line that is descriptive. In Wordpress it is very easy to set up the tag line of the blog. In fact, you just enter your tag line in the “tagline” field in the general settings.

3. Clever Is Good, Clarity Is Better!
So, just to make it perfectly clear the blog name must do its utmost to make the visitor aware of the blogs content and purpose. However, if you can do that while still coming up with a clever or funny name that’s just perfect. If you can manage to put a smile on your potential visitors face that’s a great way to build a relationship. Clarity is still more important!

4. Consider The Branding Potential Of Your Blog Name.
If you are running a business you want to make sure that you get the most out of your blog. One of the ways to do that is to make sure that your blog helps brand your business. The name is a very important aspect of that!

5. Can You Make The Name Go Viral?
A viral name for your blog is something that can really skyrocket your traffic stats. Coming up with that kind of name is extremely difficult though so this step is definitely optional.

6. Consider Taking Advantage Of Current Events In Your Blog Name.
Another way to enhance the traffic stats of your blog is to take advantage of current events. This can really boost your blog, but you need to make sure that the blog name is still “evergreen” in nature. In other words, you need to make sure that the blog name is still golden in 5 years from now!

What I discovered was that once I let my brain take a hike and allowed my fingers to do the work my speed was vastly increased!

So, doesn’t that hurt the quality of the articles? A fair question, but no I don’t think so. The key to the system is using the same research material over and over. Therefore, the more articles you write using the same research the better you know your material. This is a key element to improving your efficiency!

What was stopping me then? Well, aside from my brain stopping me in the beginning, I obviously didn’t know the templates well enough! This is something that will definitely improve with a bit of practice, but no doubt knowing the templates by heart is a key element. I had to think a bit too much about how to approach each template every time I started writing a new article.

In this case, the correct answer is B and C. Make sure you use good search engine terms in your blog name if at all possible. If you can come up with a name for your blog that makes it go viral that great, but that’s really hard to do so don’t be hard on yourself if it doesn’t happen. A blog doesn’t necessarily have to go viral to become successful!

Did you get all the questions right? No? Well, then your blog is doomed! No, as I said in the beginning your blog isn’t doomed if you get these questions wrong. However, it’s important that you consider these questions when creating your blog!

I can’t state the importance of clarity enough when it comes to your blog name! If people can’t figure out what your blog is about, they have absolutely no reason to visit your blog. In fact, too many blogs fail simply because their owner tried to be clever when they should have been clear. A clever blog name can be really great, but if it is so clever that nobody gets what your blog is about, they simply won’t visit it!

2. Not taking full advantage of the branding potential of your blog!
What’s most important? Your blog or your business? A blog is one of the best ways to brand your business. A blog gives you a chance to communicate with your customers. This is something that adds a personal relationship with your customer and makes the customer more likely to purchase your products in the future. Do not, ever, underestimate the branding potential of your blog!
