Do You Know How To Manage Your Time?

Are you any good at it? I know I’m not. It’s a skill, I know I have to work on. You see, I still hold down a day job and that has a tendency to get in the way of my online business. So I need to be able to find as much time as humanly possible to work on my business. With obligations towards work, family, friends and my online business that can be a bit of a challenge to say the least.

Time management to the rescue?

Well, if I was any good at it. So time to start educating myself, and if you’re in the same bad situation, I guess this is a good time to educate yourself as well. I found a free e-book called “Time Management for Creative People” by Mark McGuinness. I’ve skimmed through it a couple of times and I have already been able to extract a couple of very good pointers. Something I can start applying right now!

Mainly, I’m going to start taking a hard look at what tasks I end up prioritizing, and I’m going to set aside a couple of hours as “me time”, but it’s not all done with that. I will have to throuroughly read through the book and take all the advice, I can from it.
